So much to know about Brazil

So much to know about Brazil

Postby Mikki » Wed Nov 12, 2003 7:05 pm

I am planning to study and teach English in Brazzil.

I speak no Portugueze, but will use Berlitz for the beginners.

I finished college and want ,at least for a year, experience Brasil.

I am willing to rent room or appartment. What price?

Would you be helpful sharing your ideas about withy me:

1. dangers in Brazzil?

2. sexual attitude of Brazilian girls?

Yes , you may understand me, not knowing really language,
it will be very hard to understand mentality of Brazilians and
I am afraid girls might take advantage of me.

WHY the LONELY PLANET GUIDE on South America
singled out Brazilian girls as easy going, and put on the map
RIO as the world capital of sex, advising to bring condoms
as many as possible?

I was in Russia, and there girls really were so nice and easy going.
I felt Russian girls take sexual relationship as natural things to do.

WHY did you choose Brazzil, but not Colombia or Argentina?

Is it hard to study portuguese and adjust to brazilian culture?
Are people friendly there? Do you have to be always under
stress crime cituation and watch your back?

Well, it does look like I ask too many questions.
Be honest with you, I am also thinking to go to Colombia,
therefore, I can not made the right decision.
I plan to make my travelings in the end of November.

Thanks for your time helping me and share your insight!

Best wishes,, Mikki, usatravelgreat@hotmail.com

1-I am willing to rent room or appartment. What price?
-Which city? Well, if Sao Paulo, expect around R$850,00 (US$300,00)montly.
2-Dangers in Brazil?
-Depends of your common sense!
3-Why the Lonely Planet guide on South America singled out Brazilian girls as easy going, and put on the map Rio as the world capital of sex, advising to bring condoms as many as possible?
-For me this is just stereotype. Nowadays, in Brazil, USA, and west Europe women are easy. The diference is that Brazilians are way much sexy than americans and europeans in general.
4-Why did you choose Brazil, but not Colombia or Argentina?
-Well, if your purpose is to learn portuguese, your opitions are Portugal, Brazil, Angola, Mozambique; and not Colombia and Argentina.
5-Is it hard to study portuguese and adjust to brazilian culture?
-Portuguese is a hard language to learn, and brazilian culture is very complex (even for brazilians).
6-Are people friendly there?
-I think this is the most friendly country in world, but of course, there are a lot of jurks around.
7-Do you have to be always under stress crime situation and watch your back?
-Again, depends where do you live, and your common sense.

Fell free to ask anything else.

1. dangers in Brazzil?
there is danger EVERYWHERE if your a dumb ass you wont lst 5 minutes anywhere trust and colombia is much worst.

2. sexual attitude of Brazilian girls?
brazilian women are very sex. true. also strong, and smart. we dont just rock out with our cock out. you know. just respect . every race every where has hoes. dont look at us as hoes and you wnt get your ass beat down. lmao.

WHY the LONELY PLANET GUIDE on South America
singled out Brazilian girls as easy going, and put on the map
RIO as the world capital of sex, advising to bring condoms
as many as possible?
A couple hoes messed it up for everyone else. rio is a place where some of the most beautiful women on the PLANET are. many people see beautiful ETHNIC women and think hoes, whores, free ass. so they just assume. Al ethnic women have had to deal with that title.

WHY did you choose Brazzil, but not Colombia or Argentina?
UH? um let me see. argentina is consider WHITE. they dont consider them a latino race. even though there are blacks there too. but you know. and colombia I dont know. No one really goes to colombia . people talk more about they drug problems then the women there. you know drugs go overs sex anyday.

Is it hard to study portuguese and adjust to brazilian culture?
Are people friendly there? Do you have to be always under
stress crime cituation and watch your back?
No not really. All culture is hard to adjust to. When you ae there you can see the people and study the people. People are friendly. but dont be stupid. not everyone is a friend. Crime is everywhere.
REMEMBER YOUR MOVING TO BRAZIL NOT RIKERS ISLAND.
YOU CAN LIVE AND HAVE FUN. AND BE SAFE YOU JUST MUST USE YOUR HAED. AND BE CAREFUL THAT IS EVERY WHERE.

if you speak Portuguese. you minus well speak spainsh in china lmao. j/k
you should learn BRAZILIAN PORTUGESE. some easy ways to learn is to here ALOT of brazilian music and read the lyrics you will know and understand the words and how to say then . after a while you willl know how to speak them. and talk to anyone you kow who may speak it. that will also help. just make sure you know. curse words. and typical words. that way you canget by and know if someone is plotting on you.
Brazilian Beauty.
I Cant see you for who you are... and I know you see and hate me for who I am and who I refuse to be. You can try if you will but you will NEVER break me.

" I AM VERY MUCH SO A BRAZILIAN WOMAN".

DON´T BELIVE HER, CRIME IS NOT EVERY WHERE. I LIVE IN BELO HORIZONTE, STATE OF MINAS GERAIS, 2,5 MILLION HABITANTS, AND IT´S A VERY SAFE CITY. THERE ARE MANY SMALL, BEAUTIFUL AND QUIET CITIES IN BRAZIL, JUST LIKE HERE IN MINAS GERAIS, WE HAVE WONDERFULL CITIES, WITH THAT FRIENDLY PEOPLE FROM SMALL CITIES. I LOVE SMALL CITIES OF THE SOUTH OF BRAZIL, THOSE COLONIZED BY ITALIANS AND GERMANS, LIFE THERE IS VERY GOOD. WE ALSO HAVE WONDERFULL BIG CITIES IN BRAZIL, JUST LIKE SíƒÆ’O PAULO AND RIO DE JANEIRO, BUT THERE ARE HIGH CRIME SITUATIONS, BUT, IF YOU ARE SMART, NOTHING HAPPENDS TO YOU. BUT SMALL CITIES ARE THE BESY FOR FOREIGHNERS

AND WHAT ABOUT BRAZILIANS WOMEN. WELL, IT DEPENDS OF THE REGION AND CITY. JUST LIKE IN ALL THE WORLD, IN BIG CITES PEOPLE ARE MORE MODERNS AND MORE SEXUAL LIBERAL. AND IT DEPENDS OF YOUR RELIGION. FOR EXAMPLE, HERE, IN MINAS GERAIS, MOST PEOPLE ARE VERY CATHOLIC, SO PEOPLE ARE MORE QUIET. IN MORE AFRICAN REGIONS OF BRAZIL, PEOPLE ARE MORE LIBERAL, BECAUSE OF THE AFRICAN BELIVES. IT DEPENDS OF THE PERSON, YOU CAN BE A NANCY AND YOUR NEIGHBOOR MAKES PORN FILMS, IT DEPENDS OF WICH PERSON..

Mikki...

you say YOU are going to TEACH English?

Based on your post, I don't think you'd be a very good English teacher.

Maybe you could teach your native language... what is your first language, anyway?
